REGA attests 6.5 mln tenancy contracts in H1 2023

The Real Estate General Authority (REGA) attested a total of more than 6.5 million tenancy contracts through Ejar platform by the end of the first half of 2023, varying between residential and commercial leases. 

 

REGA attested over 1.3 million tenancy contracts in H1 2023 alone, marking 20% of the total. 

 

Residential lease contracts attested during the six-month period exceeded one million contracts, an increase of more than 31% from nearly 750,000 contracts in H1 2022, said the authority. 

 

It added that commercial lease contracts rose 8% in H1 2023, with 252,000 contracts attested, compared to about 232,000 contracts in the same period a year ago.
