US oil inventories rise 17.5 mln barrels in 2 weeks

US crude oil inventories for the two weeks ended Nov. 3 and Nov. 10 increased by 17.5 million barrels from the previous week, according to the American Petroleum Institute's (API) data.

 

Oil inventories rose 3.6 million barrels in the week ended Nov. 10, after adding 13.9 million barrels in the previous week.

 

Last week, the US gasoline stocks fell 1.5 million barrels, while distillate stocks were down by about 1.4 million barrels.
