Foreign investments in Saudi Arabia rise to SAR 2.5T in Q3 2023

Foreign investments in Saudi Arabia rose 4% year-on-year (YoY) to SAR 2.51 trillion by the end of Q3 2023, according to data from the Saudi Central Bank (SAMA).

 

The foreign investment balance recorded an increase of 1% quarter-on-quarter (QoQ), or nearly SAR 15.8 billion.

Foreign direct investments (FDIs) represent 41%, or SAR 1.03 trillion, of total investments.

 

Portfolio investments, which include equity, investment funds and debt bonds, reached SAR 919.8 billion. Other investments reached SAR 566.4 billion.
