Southern Province Cement Company Completes 70% of the new line in Tihama plant

Southern Province Cement Company said that the third production line in Tihama Cement plant is 70% complete.

The new line is expected to be 100% complete by March 30, 2015 with no additional costs expected; the company said in its filing to Tadawul today.

The company added that the delay in the project’s delivery from preannounced date is due to difficulties in issuing workers visas.

According to Argaam’s data; Southern Province Cement signed, in May 2012, SAR 707m contract with Sonoma International Co. to build a third production line in Tihama plant.
