DOW chemical’s: SADARA goes on stream in H2 of 2015 with 40% EBITDA margins

DOW chemical’s CEO stated that SADARA (DOW- ARAMCO J-V) will go on stream in the second half of 2015 with 10,000 employees currently working on the project and the number is expected to 60,000 in the upcoming year.

 

“Andrew Liveris” added that the Design and Engineering phase of the project has been completed.

He also mentioned that the project’s earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) are expected to hit 40% of sales.

 

The project which is said to be the world’s largest petrochemicals complex is to produce Polyethylene, Elastomers, Amines, Glycol Ether, propylene Glycol, Polyethylene Ether, Polyols and Isocyanates.
