Alhokair Tourism to open Taif entertainment city in July

Abdulmohsen Alhokair Group for Tourism and Development Company is set to open a new entertainment city in Taif’s Jouri mall by mid-Ramadan, said Badr Alhokair, chief executive of the company.

 

The opening coincides with Taif’s 36th Annual Summer Tourism Festival.

 

Alhokair currently owns and operates about 28 hotels and 50 entertainment centers in Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates. The group is known for its Sparky’s flagship brand, a well-known family entertainment center with several branches in the GCC.

 

Alhokair Tourism reported a net profit of SAR 57.6 million in first quarter, 11 percent higher compared to the same period in 2014.

 

The company recently approved a 25 percent cash dividend for 2014 at SAR 2.5 per share.
