Abdullah Al-Khodari Sons Co. (AlKhodari) said it has received SAR 9.1 million as compensation for the government’s decision to impose a work permit fee of SAR 2,400 on foreign workers.
Financial impact will be booked in the first quarter of 2016, the company said in a bourse statement.
Al-Khodari asked the government last November to pay SAR 66 million to mitigate the cost of the cabinet’s decision to impose work permit fees on foreign workers in the construction sector.
