JX Nippon Oil, Saudi Aramco sign cooperation deal

JX Nippon Oil, Japan’s leading oil wholesaler has signed an agreement with Saudi Aramco cooperate in the fields of oil trade and petrochemicals, which comes as part of a broader economic alliance following King Salman’s visit to the Asian country.

 

Aramco also signed an agreement with Yokogawa Corporation for Electric and Electronic Engineering to boost Saudi manufacturing, Research and Development (R&D), evaluation and control systems, and digitalizing the oil and gas industry.

 

Saudi Electricity Company, which is considered the largest utility provider in the Gulf, has also signed an agreement with Tokyo Electric Power Company to build an R&D center in Saudi Arabia.
