Al Rajhi Cap maintains lead among Saudi brokerages in March

Al Rajhi Capital, the investment arm of Al Rajhi Bank, kept its spot as the leading brokerage firm by market share for the fourth straight month in March, market data compiled by Argaam showed.

 

Al Rajhi Capital brokered up to 18.95 percent, or SAR 27.5 billion, of the total equity transactions on the Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul). 

 

Aljazira Capital came second, executing 12.43 percent (SAR 18 billion) of the total trading activity during the same month.

 

The combined trading value of Saudi brokerage firms stood at SAR 145.03 billion in March 2017, declining by SAR 6.4 billion month-on-month.

 

In the Nomu parallel market, Aljazira Capital was the leading brokerage firm by market share during March, followed by Samba Capital.

 

Aljazira Capital brokered up to 25.1 percent, or SAR 319.6 million, of the total equity transactions on Nomu. 

 

Meanwhile, Falcom Financial Services was the leading firm in terms of exchange-traded funds (ETFs) in March, executing 99.1 percent (SAR 227.5 million) of the total trading activity during the month.
