Saudi Arabia’s National Anti-Corruption Commission (Nazaha), in cooperation with Saudi Ministry of Finance, will develop a new online purchasing system, Nazaha president Khaled Al-Mohaisen said on the sidelines of the Integrity in Criminal Justice Institutions Forum.

The new system will comprise 20 new criteria to inspect cases of fraud, administrative corruption and misappropriation of public funds.

The move follows the recent high-profile arrests in Saudi Arabia as part of the country’s crackdown on corruption.
