Saleh Al Rasheed named head of Saudi SME authority

Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Commerce and Investment, Majid Al Qasabi, has appointed Saleh Al Rasheed as governor of the Small & Medium Enterprises General Authority (Monsha’at), according to a statement on the official Saudi Press Agency on Monday.

 

Al Rasheed was previously chief executive of Riyadh Airports Co. (RAC), which runs the King Khalid International Airport in the Saudi capital.

 

Prior to that, he held the role of director at the Saudi Industrial Property Authority (MODON), where he oversaw the development of 35 different industrial cities with a total investment value of more than SAR 15 billion.
