The Spending Efficiency Achievement Center, in coordination with the National Center for Privatization, will set suitable mechanisms for reviewing the privatization related programs and initiatives of Vision 2030, the Saudi cabinet has announced.

The center aims to help government agencies achieve spending efficiency. It will supervise the implementation of related programs and plans.

The center is a financially and administratively independent body that operates according to commercial standards. It enjoys all authorities and flexibility needed to fulfill its role.

Earlier this month, the Saudi cabinet decided to transform the Bureau of Capital and Operational Spending Rationalization into the Spending Efficiency Achievement Center, and has approved its regulations, Argaam previously reported.
