King Abdulaziz City to launch two tech-enabled programs in 2019: official

Saudi Arabia will launch two major technology-supportive programs in 2019, namely the Lighthouses and the Capability Centers, Anas Faris AlFaris, deputy president of King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology (KACST), said.

 

"The Capability Centers aim to provide the right training, while the Lighthouses will make sure that the experimenting involves diverse industries and various technologies are adapted," AlFaris said on the sidelines of the launch ceremony of the National Industrial Development and Logistics Program (NIDLP).

 

"The goal is to help the industries in need and to leap into the century’s technology and artificial intelligence," he further added.
