Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Health has invited local and international healthcare service providers to submit expressions of interest (EoI) for its first public-private partnership (PPP) project, it said in a statement on Thursday.

The deadline for EoI submission is July 1.

The PPP project, which targets radiology and medical imaging services covering several hospitals in the Greater Riyadh region, reflects the growth potential that exists in the domestic healthcare sector.

The PPP project is expected to improve access to over a million people in the Greater Riyadh region, improve wait and turn-around times and reliability of scans for better treatment, the statement said.
