10 things to watch on Tadawul today

Here are a few things you need to know as Saudi stocks start trading on Wednesday.

 

1) Rabigh Refining and Petrochemical Co. (Petro Rabigh) reported a net profit after zakat and tax of SAR 343 million for the first nine months of 2019, a slump of 55.68 percent year-on-year (YoY).

 

2) Al Rajhi Bank reported a net profit of SAR 8 billion for the first nine months of 2019, an increase of 9.7 percent year-on-year (YoY).

 

3) Maharah Human Resources Co. reported a net profit after zakat and tax of SAR 206.1 million for the first nine months of 2019, up 17.7 percent year-on-year (YoY).

 

4) Zahrat Al Waha For Trading Co.'s shareholders will discuss on Nov. 21 the board's recommendation on paying cash dividend at SAR 0.75 a share, or 7.5 percent of the stock's nominal value, totaling SAR 11.25 million for H1 2019.

 

5) Astra Industrial Group’s net profit fell 32 percent to SAR 10.1 million in the first nine months of 2019, compared to SAR 14.7 million a year earlier.

 

6) Yanbu Cement Co. reported a net profit after zakat and tax of SAR 174.4 million for the first nine months of 2019, an over twofold increase year-on-year (YoY).

 

7) Abdulmohsen Alhokair Group for Tourism and Development (Al Hokair Group) widened losses after zakat and tax to SAR 46.96 million for the first nine months of 2019, compared to net losses of SAR 2.57 million in year-earlier period.

 

8) Middle East Paper Co. (MEPCO) reported a net profit after zakat and tax of SAR 2.6 million for the first nine months of 2019, a plunge of 97 percent year-on-year (YoY).

 

9) SABB Takaful Co. has renewed three policies with Saudi British Bank (SABB) -- the property all-risk insurance policy, group creditor policy and group credit card policy -- after obtaining the renewal confirmation from SABB, for a total subscription of SAR 64.4 million.

 

10) Brent crude on Wednesday declined 17 cents to reach $61.42 per barrel whereas WTI Crude also decreased 27 cents to reach $55.27/bbl.
