Al Rajhi Capital remains top Saudi brokerage firm in November 2019

Al Rajhi Capital remained the top brokerage firm operating in Saudi Arabia by market share (volume of transactions) in November 2019, according to data compiled by Argaam.

 

The brokerage accounted for 14.15% of the total market transactions, worth SAR 16.38 billion, by the end of November.

 

NCB Capital came in the second place, accounting for 9.23%, or SAR 10.69 billion of the total trade, followed by SAMBA Capital with total trade of SAR 9.98 billion.

 

Meanwhile, Aljazira Capital went down to the fourth position, accounting for SAR 9.80 billion of total trading last month.

 

The combined trading value of brokerage firms decreased month-on-month by SAR 7.6 billion to SAR 115.77 billion in November.

 

On the Nomu Parallel Market, Aljazira Capital topped the list of brokerages operating in the same month, brokering up to SAR 598.4 million of total transactions.

 

However, the number of brokerages working on exchange-traded funds (ETFs) in November dropped to 12, compared to the month before.

 

Falcom Financial Services was the leading firm for the month, accounting for 90%, or SAR 21.1 million, of total trading compared to the previous month.
