Tadawul lifts trading suspension on Walaa Cooperative, MetLife AIG shares

The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) lifted today the trading suspension placed on shares of Walaa Cooperative Insurance Co. and MetLife AIG ANB Cooperative Insurance Co., the bourse said in a statement.

 

Tadawul had suspended trading of both insurers yesterday, Dec. 24, 2019, for one trading session as they had to make an announcement.

 

Yesterday, both insurers announced receiving a no-objection letter from the Saudi Arabian Monetary Authority (SAMA) on their potential merger.
