What you need to know when Tadawul opens today

Here are a few things you need to know as Saudi stocks start trading on Wednesday.

 

1) Umm Al-Qura Cement Co. (UACC) reported a net profit after Zakat and tax of SAR 79.8 million for the fiscal year (FY) 2019.

 

2) Saudi Ceramic Co. reported a net profit after Zakat and tax of SAR 7.2 million for FY2019, versus net losses of SAR 220.6 million in a year-earlier period.

 

3) Arabian Shield Cooperative Insurance Co.'s net profit before Zakat and tax slumped 50.59% year-on-year (YoY) to SAR 16.94 million for FY2019.

 

4) Umm Al Qura Cement Co. recommended a 2.5% cash dividend for the second half of 2019, at SAR 0.25 per share, amounting to SAR 13.75 million.

 

5) Anaam International Holding Group Co.’s accumulated losses were fully offset following the capital cut process.

 

6) Al-Etihad Cooperative Insurance Co. appointed Sulaiman Hamad AlDallali as chairman and Naif Saud AlTarriri as vice chairman of the board.

 

7) Saudi Indian Company for Cooperative Insurance (Wafa Insurance) postponed the voting on the financial reorganization procedure under new Bankruptcy Law due to the lack of quorum.

 

8) The Mediterranean and Gulf Insurance and Reinsurance Co. (MedGulf) signed an agreement with Alissa Group to provide comprehensive vehicle insurance.

 

9) Saudi Industrial Development Co. (SIDC) received an invitation from Arabian Industrial Fibers Co. (Ibn Rushd) to attend its ordinary general assembly meeting on April, 1.

 

10) Brent crude on Wednesday gained 31 cents to reach $55.26 per barrel. WTI Crude also increased 39 cents to reach $50.29/bbl.
