Leejam Sports reopens majority of fitness centers

Leejam Sports (Fitness Time) reopens today the majority of fitness centers across the Kingdom, in accordance with the government guidelines for health and safety. 

 

The decision falls in line with the directives of the Ministry of Sports to resume activity in gyms and sports centers starting June 21, 2020, the company said in a statement to Tadawul on Sunday. 

 

The company will undertake continuous cleaning and sterilization of fitness facilities, equipment and tools, as well temperature checks and social distancing measures.  

 

 

Leejam confirmed its commitment to implement all government decisions in this regard. 

Meanwhile, the company is assessing the financial impact related to this matter and will announce any updates in due course. 

 

Leejam closed all fitness centers in Saudi Arabia on March 15, following the decision of the Ministry of Sports to suspend sports events and activities to prevent the spread of the coronavirus, Argaam reported.
