Saudi banks raise investments in treasury bonds by SAR 44.5 bln in H1 2020

Saudi banks’ investments in treasury bonds increased by SAR 44.5 billion to SAR 428.2 billion in H1 2020 compared to SAR 383.7 billion in H1 2019, new data from the Saudi Arabian Monetary Authority (SAMA) showed.

 

Saudi banks’ investments in treasury bonds increased by SAR 8.1 billion month-on-month in June.

 

SAMA’s foreign assets grew by SAR 46.8 billion in June to around SAR 1.805 trillion.
