Qassim Cement names new audit committee member

Qassim Cement Co.’s board of directors appointed Tarek Al-Marshoud, a non-executive board director, as an audit committee member for the current three-year term ending Dec. 31, 2021, the company said in a bourse filing.

Al Marshoud holds a master’s degree of project management from De Montfort University in the UK in 2010 and a bachelor’s degree of accounting from King Saud University in 2008.

Al-Marshoud joined the company’s board of directors on May 19, 2019, as a representative of the General Organization for Social Insurance (GOSI), the statement added.

The board’s decision is subject to the approval of the upcoming general meeting.
