Saudi Enaya appoints board members

Saudi Enaya Cooperative Insurance Co. said its board of directors approved the appointment of Hamad Abdulla Mohamed Almehyas Al Ali, a representative of the National Health Insurance Co. (Daman), as non-executive member.

 

Al Ali replaces resigning member, Khaled Abdulla Almass, the firm said in a statement to Tadawul.

 

The board also approved appointing Amr Mohamed K Khashoggi as independent member, in place of resigning member Mazen Suliman Fakeeh.

 

Both appointments will run until the end of the current board period ending March 7, 2021.

 

Al Ali holds a bachelor’s degree in Forensic Science from University of Glamorgan, Wales, and a master degree in DNA Profiling from University of Central Lancashire. He is the chief executive officer of Daman and vice-chairman of Emirates Insurance Association.

 

Khashoggi holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Menlo College, USA, and a master degree in Business Administration from Bell University, USA. He is the chairman of board in AMKEST, chairman of Board and major shareholder of International Gypsum Co., and a board member of Eastern Food Industries Co., United Warehouse Co., National Food Industries Co., and Middle East Healthcare Co.
