10 things to watch on Tadawul today

Here are a few things you need to know as Saudi stocks start trading on Monday.

 

1) City Cement Co. reported a net profit after Zakat and tax of SAR 220.5 million in 2020.

 

2) Middle East Healthcare Co. (MEAHCO), which owns and operates the Saudi German Hospital chain, reported a net profit after Zakat and tax of SAR 101 million for 2020, an increase of 4% year-on-year (YoY).

 

3) The creditor objection period for the merger between Solidarity Saudi Takaful Co. and Aljazira Takaful Taawuni Co. ended Feb. 26, 2021, without any outstanding objections from Solidarity’s creditors.

 

4) Saudi Industrial Services Co. (SISCO) reported net profit after Zakat and tax of SAR 139.4 million, a more than two-fold increase for 2020.

 

5) Solidarity Saudi Takaful Co. widened net loss before Zakat to SAR 69.8 million for 2020.

 

6) Sumou Real Estate Co. reported net profit after Zakat and tax of SAR 71.4 million in 2020, an increase of 2% YoY.

 

7) Arabian Shield Cooperative Insurance Co. reported a net profit before Zakat of SAR 43.6 million in 2020.

 

8) Riyad Bank’s board of directors recommended a 5% cash dividend, or SAR 0.50 per share, for 2020.  

 

9) Najran Cement Co.’s board of directors recommended a 7.5% cash dividend for the second half of 2020, at SAR 0.75 per share, amounting to SAR 127.5 million.

 

10) Brent crude on Monday gained $1.16 to reach $65.58 per barrel. WTI crude also increased $1.08 to reach $62.58/bbl.
