Saudi Arabia records 1,534 COVID-19 cases on Thursday

Saudi Arabia recorded 1,534 COVID-19 cases today, July 1, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 489,126, the Ministry of Health stated.

 

Recoveries reached 1,487, raising the total number of recovered cases to 469,120 (96% of total COVID-19 cases).

 

The Kingdom reported 13 new deaths, with the death toll standing at 7,832.

 

Active cases totaled 12,174, of which 1,389 cases are critical.

 

Makkah reported the highest number of COVID-19 cases at 377, followed by Eastern Province (337), Riyadh (310), Asir (156) and Jazan (96).

 

More than 17.93 million doses have been administered to people in the Kingdom to date.
