Saudi Arabia records 1,098 COVID-19 cases on Saturday

Saudi Arabia recorded 1,098 COVID-19 cases today, July 17, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 508,521, the Ministry of Health stated.

 

Recoveries reached 1,207, raising the total number of recovered cases to 489,553 (96% of total COVID-19 cases).

 

Active cases totaled 10,905, of which 1,386 cases are critical.

 

The Kingdom reported 15 new deaths, with the death toll standing at 8,063.

 

Riyadh reported the highest number of COVID-19 cases at 258, followed by Makkah (211), Eastern Province (128), Asir (124), Jazan (82), Al Qassim (77), Baha (50), and Madinah (43).

 

Saudi Arabia concluded 107,000 new tests, and the total number of administered doses increased to more than 22 million.
