Saudi Arabia records 1,289 COVID-19 cases on Thursday

Saudi Arabia recorded 1,289 COVID-19 cases today, July 29, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 523,397, the Ministry of Health stated.

 

Recoveries reached 1,299, raising the total number of recovered cases to 503,827 (96% of total COVID-19 cases).

 

The Kingdom reported 12 new deaths, with the death toll standing at 8,212.

 

Active cases totaled 11,358, of which 1,395 cases are critical.

 

Makkah reported the highest number of COVID-19 cases at 260, followed by Riyadh (253), Eastern Province (220), Jazan (100) and Al-Qassim (97).

 

The Kingdom conducted 117,620 new tests, bringing up the total number to 26.05 million.
