Saudi Arabia records 1,084 COVID-19 cases on Sunday

Saudi Arabia recorded 1,084 COVID-19 cases today, Aug. 1, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 526,814, the Ministry of Health stated.

 

Recoveries reached 1,285, raising the total number of recovered cases to 507,374 (96% of total COVID-19 cases).

 

Active cases totaled 11,191, of which 1,403 cases are critical.

 

The Kingdom reported 12 new deaths, with the death toll standing at 8,249.

 

Riyadh reported the highest number of COVID-19 cases at 235, followed by Makkah (207), Eastern Province (154), Al Qassim (107), Asir (94), and Madinah (69).
