Saudi Arabia records 360 COVID-19 cases on Monday

Saudi Arabia recorded 360 COVID-19 cases today, Aug. 23, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 542,354, the Ministry of Health stated.

 

Recoveries reached 741, raising the total number of recovered cases to 529,377 (97% of total COVID-19 cases).

 

Active cases totaled 4,487, of which 1,127 cases are critical.

 

The Kingdom reported nine new deaths, with the death toll standing at 8,490.

 

Riyadh reported the highest number of COVID-19 cases at 94, followed by Makkah (64), Eastern Province (39), Jazan (33), Al Qassim (32), Asir (30), and Madinah (22).

 

Saudi Arabia concluded 63,300 new tests over the last 24 hours, and the total number of administered doses increased to 34.27 million.
