Higher directives in Saudi Arabia were issued to various parties to monitor the private sector’s capabilities in exports, Al-Madina newspaper reported.

The General Authority for Foreign Trade informed the relevant authorities of the importance of reviewing the aspirations of the private sector and its export capabilities in service sectors that have a tangible positive impact on the local economy, the newspaper’s sources said.

This comes in an effort to open new markets and include the sector's requests within the Kingdom's framework of negotiating rounds, in order to achieve the goals of Vision 2030.
