Saudi Arabia recorded 88 COVID-19 cases today, Sept. 15, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 546,251, the Ministry of Health stated.

 

Recoveries reached 70, raising the total number of recovered cases to 535,260 (98% of total COVID-19 cases).

 

The Kingdom reported seven new deaths, with the death toll standing at 8,640.

 

Active cases totaled 2,351, of which 449 cases are critical.

 

Riyadh reported the highest number of COVID-19 cases at 22, followed by Makkah (18), Madinah and Eastern Province (9 each), and Jazan (6).

 

The Kingdom conducted 50,200 new tests in the last 24 hours, while the total number of administered COVID-19 doses rose to 40.13 million.
