Municipal ministry licenses 3,176 collective housing units

Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Municipal, Rural Affairs and Housing said the National Program for the Development of Collective Housing for Individuals made several achievements in 2021, including the licensing of 3,176 collective housing units, compared to the target number of 2,143.

 

The program also provided housing units for more than 547,000 residents in 2021, exceeding the target number of 450,000.

 

The number of private sector establishments qualified for licensing was increased to 100, compared to the target number of 60 last year.

 

In addition, the number of workers at medium, small and micro enterprises living in licensed collective housing units rose to 253,000, exceeding the target of 172,000.
