Number of pilgrims seen rising in 2022, says Hajj Ministry Spokesperson

The number of pilgrims is expected to increase during 2022 hajj season compared with the last year, while taking into account health and precautionary measures, Al Ekhbariya TV reported, citing Hisham Saeed, Spokesperson for the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah.
 

He added that the decision will be announced at the right time.
 

Saeed denied the news that Umrah reservations for the upcoming Holy Month of Ramadan were completed.
 

According to data compiled by Argaam, the Kingdom limited 2021 Hajj season to 60,000 pilgrims of nationals and residents inside the Kingdom only due to COVID-19 pandemic .
