Saudi bank loans to public, private sectors grow 15% to SAR 2.403 trln in October

Saudi bank loans granted to public and private sectors rose 15% by the end of October to SAR 2.403 trillion, compared to SAR 2.082 trillion a year earlier, according to data issued by the Saudi Central Bank (SAMA).

 

Private sector lending also increased by 14% year-on-year (YoY) to SAR 2.282 trillion for the same month.

 

Meanwhile, loans granted to public non-financial institutions jumped 67% YoY to about SAR 121.1 billion by the end of October.
