Riyad Bank appoints new board member

Riyad Bank’s board of directors approved the appointment of Abdulrahman Tarabzouni as a board member, effective as of today, Dec. 19, until the end of the current term on Oct. 30, 2025, the company said in a statement to Tadawul.

This came after obtaining today the Saudi Central Bank’s (SAMA) non-objection on the move, it added.

The appointment is pending the approval of the upcoming general assembly meeting, the date of which is still undetermined.

Tarabzouni holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Engineering and a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), US. He has extensive experience in the field of financial technology (fintech).
