Methanex cuts methanol prices to Asian buyers in April

Methanex, the world’s biggest methanol producer, cut April methanol contract prices to Asian buyers by USD 110 to USD 480 per tonne compared to March levels. The company also reduced prices to North American markets by USD 33 to USD 599 per tonne.

Methanex’s monthly prices serve as benchmark for other producers and spot markets world over.
