The Saudi health insurance regulator has banned Al-Ahlia Insurance Company from  issuing personal health insurance  coverage, effective Nov 13, 2014 because the company does not abide by regulations, the company said in a  statement to the Saudi bourse, Tadawul.

The decision will reflect negatively on the sales of the company in the 4th quarter or until the ban is lifted, it added.
