Saudi Banks’ aggregated profit rises 5% in October 2014

Aggregated earnings of Saudi banks rose 5% to SAR 3.3bn in October 2014 compared to SAR 3.14bn for the same month last year; according to SAMA’s monthly newsletter released today.


Saudi banks’ aggregated profit for the first 10 months of year 2014 rose 9% to SAR 34.03bn compared to SAR 31.29 bn for the same period last year.


The earnings included the results of the 12 Saudi listed banks and 11 foreign banks’ branches operating in the Kingdom.

Aggregated balance sheet of Saudi banks showed 15% increase in assets reaching SAR 2114bn by the end of October 2014.
 

Deposits rose 15% to SAR 1550bn and loans’ portfolio grew 16% reaching SAR 1287bn as shown in the following tables:
