Al-Riyadh Development said on Thursday that the completion of Attameer Plaza III has been delayed due to contracting problems, high population, and traffic jams.
Three of the plaza’s buildings, which were initially scheduled to be completed on Jan. 25, have been delayed to later on in Q1-2015, according to the company’s filing on Tadawul, Saudi Arabia’s bourse.
The project is compromised of five buildings. The remaining two will be finalized in Q3-2015.
The company said it is not expected to suffer financial liabilities due to the delay.
Last October, the board of directors approved the construction of Attameer Plaza III at a cost of SAR 23 million.
