Atheeb says losses up to 61.7% of capital after May

Ehtihad Atheeb Telecommunications Company (GO), which provides telecom services in the kingdom, said on Sunday that its accumulated losses rose to SAR 972.03 million, or 61.72 percent of its capital, after it reported a net loss of SAR 13.4 million for May.

 

At the end of April, the company said it had accumulated SAR 958.6 million in losses, representing 60.86 percent of its capital.

 

The Saudi market regulator’s new policy requires listed companies that have accumulated losses equal to 50 percent or more of their capital to publish monthly, unaudited financial updates.
