The Saudi government has no intention to impose income tax or any other tax on citizens under its Vision 2030, minister of state Mohammed Al-Sheikh said during the launch of the National Transformation Program (NTP).

Developments on the reform plan will be revealed to all citizens to enhance transparency, he added.

Saudi Arabia approved on Monday the NTP 2020. The new plan will be implemented by 16 ministries and eight government authorities in the first year of launch.

The NTP includes 543 projects that will cost an estimated SAR 270 billion to implement by 2020.
