Fawaz Al Hokair appoints new CEO to replace Simon Marshall

Fawaz Abdulaziz Al Hokair Co.’s board of directors has appointed Atul Singh as chief executive officer, effective April 1, 2017, the company said in a statement to Tadawul Monday.

 

Singh has experience in retail and consumer products. He served in Coca-Cola Company since 1998, and his last position was chairman of the company’s Asia Pacific group, where he supervised operations in 36 markets.

 

Singh studied business and holds an MBA degree from Texas Christian University, the retailer added in the statement.

 

Last October, former CEO Simon Marshall resigned for personal reasons.
