Al Kathiri says ready-made concrete plant to go online Oct. 1

Al Kathiri Holding Co. will begin commercial operations at its Riyadh-based ready-made concrete plant October 1, the company said in a bourse statement Wednesday.

 

The total cost of the plant reached SAR 29 million, SAR 14.12 million of which were financed by the company.

 

The remaining SAR 14.88 million was financed by concrete pump and mixer manufacturers under a three-year agreement.

 

The facility will have a monthly production capacity of 50,000 cubic meters.

 

The financial impact is expected to show in Q4 2017, Al Kathiri added.
