Saudi banks’ treasury bond holdings rise by SAR 2.1 bln in July

Saudi banks’ investments in treasury bonds increased by nearly SAR 2.1 billion month-on-month to approximately SAR 286.4 billion in July, new data from the Saudi Arabian Monetary Authority (SAMA) showed.

 

Meanwhile, SAMA’s foreign assets fell SAR 17.7 billion in July to SAR 1.92 trillion.
