A new highway worth $282 million connecting Jordan and Saudi Arabia was inaugurated today, The Jordan Times reported.
Funded by the Saudi Fund for Development (SFD), is meant to facilitate regional trade and movement, the report said.
It included rehabilitating the highway that links Zarqa with the Jordan-Saudi border by widening the road linking the intersections of Jafr, Muwagar and the free zones to four lanes.
