Southern Cement inks exports deal with Peakward Enterprises

Southern Province Cement Co. has signed a contract with Hong Kong-based Peakward Enterprises Holdings Ltd. to export 1.5 million tons of clinker to Bangladesh, the cement producer said in a bourse statement.

 

The contract was signed on Oct. 23, 2018 while the deal starts from Dec. 31, 2018, the first shipment date and ends on June 30, 2020.

 

The financial impact will be reflected on financials of 2019 ad H1 2020.

 

No related parties are involved in the deal, the statement added.
