Saudi Arabia has qualified 78 local and foreign developers to bid for housing projects, Thomson Reuters Projects reported.
The Developers Services Centre (ETMAM) at the Housing Ministry said it granted "qualification certificates" to 78 developers in 2018 after they applied for the execution of housing projects in the Kingdom, the report added.
According to ETMAM, certificates were granted only to companies which met the Housing Ministry's terms including strong financial resources, experience and performance, sound organizational structure, classification by the Municipal and Rural Affairs Ministry, and proof the firm is debt-free.
