Saudi Arabia closes SAR 6 bln domestic sukuk issuance

Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Finance has closed its March 2019 sukuk issuance under the government’s riyal-denominated sukuk program, with the issuance size set at SAR 6.075

billion, it said in a statement.

 

The issuances were divided into two tranches:

 

- The first tranche is valued at SAR 2.39 billion, as part of the total tranche size of SAR 7.844 billion, maturing in 2029;

 

- The second tranche is worth SAR 3.680 million, maturing in 2034, the statement added.

 

The ministry closed February 2019 domestic issuance worth SAR 9.376 billion, Argaam earlier reported.
