9 things to watch on Tadawul today

Here are a few things you need to know as Saudi stocks start trading on Monday.

 

1) Jabal Omar Development Co.’s board of directors has accepted the resignation of former chief executive officer, Yasser Al-Sharif on May 24.

 

2) Dar Al Arkan Real Estate Co. has fully repaid SAR 1.5 billion ($400 million) Shariah compliant Series 3 MTN 2019 sukuk, the developer said in a bourse statement.

 

3) United Cooperative Assurance Co.’s (UCA) shareholders have approved audited financial statements and audit report for the fiscal year 2018 during the general assembly meeting held on May 23.

 

4) Basic chemical Industries Co.’s (BCI) general assembly has approved a board recommendation to hold off on issuing a cash dividend for fiscal year 2018.

 

5) Advanced Petrochemical Co.’s board of directors has recommended a 10 percent capital hike to SAR 2.16 billion from SAR 1.97 billion through the issue bonus shares.

 

6) Thob Al Aseel Co.’s shareholders have approved a 10 percent cash dividend for the second half of 2019, at SAR 1 per share, amounting to SAR 30 million.

 

7) National Gas & Industrialization Co. (GASCO) has inked an agreement with the Saudi Gas Cylinder Factory at a total value of SAR 130.06 million excluding VAT.

 

8) Hail Cement Co. will shut down its production line starting from May 26 to perform scheduled maintenance for the raw materials furnace and mill.

 

9) Brent crude on Monday remained unchanged at $68.69/bbl, while WTI crude declined 25 cents to $58.38/bbl.
