Advanced Petrochemical Co. (Advanced) will shut down its propylene and polypropylene plants for scheduled maintenance works as of March 11, 2021, the petrochemicals producer said in a bourse filing.

The polypropylene plant will restart operations as of March 27, 2021, using the available as well as the outsourced propylene.

Additionally, the propylene plant will resume operations as of April 5, 2021, after the catalyst replacement process.

“The expected impact of the regular maintenance works is taken into account in 2021 budget, in terms of production volumes and estimated revenue,” the statement added.

The relevant financial impact will likely appear on financial statements of the first two quarters of 2021, based on expected prices of feedstock and polypropylene.

Updates will be duly revealed, the statement added.
