Aslak shareholders to vote on delegating board to pay interim dividends on April 6

United Wire Factories Co.’s (Aslak) shareholders will vote on authorizing the board of directors to distribute interim dividends on a semi-annual or quarterly basis for the fiscal year 2021, during the ordinary general meeting that will be held on April 6, 2021, the company said in a bourse statement.

 

Shareholders will also discuss audited financial statements, the board and auditor’s reports for 2020, and discharge members of the board of directors from liabilities during 2020.

 

In addition, they will discuss other items on the agenda including the appointment of an auditor to audit the company’s financial statements for Q2, Q3, Q4 2021 and Q1 2022.

 

Shareholders will also vote on the contracts concluded between the company and Rumooz Al-Fakherah for Trading Co., where two board members, Mohammad Al-Rasheed and Saleh Al-Rasheed, have direct interest.

 

The agenda items also include the remuneration of the board and audit committee members, as well as appointing Yousef Al-Mutlaq (independent board member), as a member in the audit committee, as of Oct. 1, 2020 through April 9, 2022.
